Job Requirements
- Two to four-year college degree or equivalent education or experience
- Minimum of two-year experience in the food and beverage industry
- Basic knowledge of restaurant operations
- Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
- Ability to delegate and manage manpower
- Ability to establish priorities consistent with department and hotel objectives
- Effective listening skills
- Ability to communicate professionally and positively with guests and fellow associates

Job Duties
- Supervise the shift's operations in the restaurant and liaise with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and compliance with procedures and safety regulations
- Supervise the restaurant associates including interview, hiring recommendations, scheduling, training, developing, coaching, counseling, performance reviews, problem resolution, and discipline recommendations
- Create, recommend and implement promotions, displays, buffet presentations and ideas to attract guests and increase market share
- Ensure compliance with alcoholic beverage commission regulations to avoid legal issues
- Maximize bar profitability through portion control and monitoring accuracy of charges
- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by enforcing sanitation standards and supervising restaurant equipment maintenance
- Investigate, resolve, and respond to guest needs, inquiries, comments and problems to ensure quality experience and enhance future sales
- Update cash management system and prepare reports to assist in restaurant administration
- Perform special projects and other assigned responsibilities including serving as manager on duty
