Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
- ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods ranging 6-12 hours
- able to perform physical tasks including walking, standing, ascending/descending stairs
- capable of lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 lbs
- ability to bend, stoop, and kneel
- exposure to heat, steam, and cold temperatures within kitchen environment
- flexible availability to work event-based schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- valid certifications such as ServSafe Food Certification, ServSafe Alcohol Certification, and/or Food Handler certification may be required
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to manage cash handling and POS operations
- strong organizational skills
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in the restaurant and/or sports entertainment industry
- 2 years experience in supervisory role preferred
- excellent customer service skills
- strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- ability to operate point-of-sale systems and cash-handling experience
- ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- knowledge of food safety regulations, best practices, and sanitation requirements
- may require valid certifications such as ServSafe Food Certification, ServSafe Alcohol Certification, and Maricopa County approved Food Handler certification
- flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required for stadium events
Job Duties
- Oversee front-of-house team members
- delegate daily tasks
- conduct Pre-Shift meetings with assigned teams to effectively communicate daily goals, updates, and assignments
- supervise FOH areas to ensure efficient operations and quality standards
- foster a positive and collaborative working environment for staff
- assist management with addressing employee concerns and performance
- ensure excellent guest experience by deescalating and resolving guest complaints promptly
- operate POS system and oversee adherence to cash-handling procedures
- complete end-of-event reconciliation and administrative duties
- ensure compliance with all Levy policies, procedures, and Levy Core Signatures
- enforce safety standards and food safety compliance including proper food handling, cross-contamination prevention, and maintaining safe food temperatures
- ensure all equipment, stations, and dining areas are properly cleaned and maintained following safety procedures and sanitation guidelines
- supervise equipment usage and cleanliness
- assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels, completing production logs, and monitoring portion control and waste/spoilage/gratis logs
- conduct accurate inventory counts daily and monthly
- provide break coverage and fill staffing gaps in various roles as needed
- assist with reducing operation costs and increasing productivity
- monitor labor plan throughout shifts
- complete all opening and closing duties including front of house preparation, sanitation, and back of house cash management
- assist with all restaurant duties as needed including administrative serving, bartending, food runner, expediting, front of house and back of house duties
- perform other duties as assigned
