Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma GED certification or equivalent
  • One year supervisory experience
  • Two years experience in restaurant or food service capacity
  • Must successfully complete New Mexico Food Handlers course upon hire
  • Must obtain and maintain New Mexico Alcohol Server's License upon hire
  • Must successfully pass a stringent background investigation
  • Will require pre-employment and random drug screening
  • Flexible work schedule able to work weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
  • Punctual and regular attendance
  • Must adhere to appearance and uniform guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma GED or equivalent
  • One year supervisory experience
  • Two years experience in a restaurant or food service capacity
  • Ability to lead by example demonstrating professionalism integrity and positive attitude
  • Strong customer-centric mindset to anticipate guest needs and exceed expectations
  • Ability to supervise and direct employees effectively
  • Knowledge of buffet line operating requirements
  • Knowledge of food and drink preservation temperature requirements
  • Familiarity with Tribal federal state and local sanitary regulations
  • Ability to write and prepare standard reports and documents
  • Strong leadership and personnel management skills
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
  • Ability to create a team environment through communication and appreciation

Job Duties

  • Provide clear direction and support to team members fostering a positive team environment
  • Help implement training programs and provide coaching to enhance staff skills and performance
  • Delegate responsibilities ensuring efficient workflow and maximizing productivity
  • Set performance expectations conduct evaluation appraisals and provide feedback
  • Address conflict and issues within the team promptly maintaining a harmonious work environment
  • Manage staff schedules to optimize staffing levels and ensure seamless operation
  • Monitor food quality presentation and service standards
  • Interact with guests to ensure service and food quality meet expectations
  • Resolve guest complaints about food quality and service in a timely manner
  • Facilitate daily stand-up meetings to communicate property information
  • Enforce health and safety compliance including food handling and sanitation
  • Ensure proper security measures for cash handling and funds safekeeping
  • Conduct daily communication meetings with employees regarding changes and procedures
  • Collaborate with other departments and management to coordinate operations
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned
