Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of two years supervisory experience in a restaurant or similar high-volume environment
  • Proven ability to manage staff effectively
  • Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficiency in POS systems
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical stamina for fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Some college coursework preferred
  • Minimum of two years supervisory experience in a restaurant or similar high-volume environment
  • Proven ability to manage staff effectively
  • Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficiency in POS systems
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Experience working in a hotel or hospitality setting preferred
  • Experience with inventory management software preferred
  • Formal training in restaurant management or hospitality preferred

Job Duties

  • Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations including daily service, staff scheduling, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene
  • Supervise restaurant staff by providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
  • Manage restaurant inventory, track stock levels, order supplies, and minimize waste
  • Maintain food safety and sanitation standards, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies
  • Provide exceptional customer service, resolve guest complaints, and seek feedback to improve service
  • Use POS systems proficiently to process orders, manage payments, and generate reports
  • Create and manage staff schedules ensuring adequate coverage
  • Resolve conflicts between staff or guests to maintain a positive work environment
  • Motivate and lead the team by fostering a collaborative atmosphere
  • Develop and deliver training programs for restaurant staff
