Job Requirements
- Ability to transport at least 50 lbs through a crowded room continually throughout shift
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
- Constant standing and walking required
- Frequent twisting bending stooping reaching standing walking talking hearing seeing and smiling
- Adherence to all company policies and procedures
- Must maintain neat clean and well-groomed appearance according to team member handbook standards
Job Qualifications
- Thorough knowledge of food outlet operations including foods supervisory aspects service techniques and guest interaction
- Knowledge of all state federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests
- Hold a current food handler card and TABC license or be in the process of certification
- Ability to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods
- Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware
- Basic knowledge of english sufficient to understand customer inquiries and communicate simple instructions
- Ability to comprehend and apply written product labeling instructions safely
- Ability to remember recite and promote variety of menu items
- Ability to operate beverage equipment such as coffee maker
Job Duties
- Assist restaurant manager/F&B director in interviewing selecting training supervising counseling and disciplining restaurant staff
- Maintain outlet scheduling and payroll
- Organize and conduct pre-shift and departmental meetings communicating pertinent information such as house count daily specials promotions and menu changes
- Meet and greet guests escort them to tables and present menus
- Answer telephones clearly coordinate and document reservations
- Maintain communication with all departments attend relevant meetings participate in marketing efforts assist in creating menus survey competition and report food trends
- Monitor product quality and guest satisfaction ensuring food consistency appeal and guest specifications
- Maintain profitability by controlling payroll and equipment costs managing inventory ordering supplies and ensuring equipment maintenance
- Support entire food and beverage operation including supervising other areas handling special projects running promotions and marketing efforts
- Provide a clean and safe environment by assigning and assisting with cleaning duties
- Adhere to all company policies procedures safety and security rules including fire prevention and emergency procedures
- Utilize protective equipment and report unsafe conditions accidents injuries near-misses property damage to manager
- Maintain a neat clean and well-groomed appearance according to team member handbook standards
- Perform any related duties requested by manager and assist other restaurant personnel when needed
