Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of supervisory experience in a full-service restaurant
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Ability to manage schedules and staff
- Proficiency in restaurant management software preferred
Job Qualifications
- 1-2 years restaurant supervisory experience
- Knowledge of beverage cost and sequence of service
- Experience with Micros point-of-sale system is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Hands-on leadership approach
- Ability to train and develop staff
- Proven ability to manage multiple outlets and teams
- Strong organizational skills
Job Duties
- Direct operational efforts and strategies of kitchen outlets
- Supervise kitchen staff, restaurant, lounge, banquet, utility and sanitation associates
- Train associates in food production, seasoning, plate presentation, cleaning and sanitation
- Assist in writing schedules, evaluating associates and directing personnel
- Maintain open verbal and written communication between management and associates
- Write and present disciplinary actions when necessary
- Provide tools and equipment for associates to perform their jobs
- Handle immediate action on problems in kitchen or restaurant
- Participate in weekly staff and food and beverage meetings and monthly kitchen inventories
- Ensure high quality, properly prepared food is served efficiently
- Support food service and other hotel operations as needed
