Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in front of house restaurant operations preferred
  • Ability to lead and supervise teams effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
  • Availability to work flexible shifts including early mornings late nights weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Capability to lift and move up to 50 pounds safely
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Familiarity with point of sale (POS) systems
  • Willingness to comply with all safety and policy regulations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a restaurant or hospitality environment
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage staffing and scheduling
  • Experience with cash handling and balancing
  • Ability to train and develop team members
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficiency in using restaurant management software and POS systems

  • Completion of alcohol awareness training

Job Duties

  • Supervise FOH teams to perform smooth and efficient daily shifts ensuring an exceptional guest and employee experience including but not limited to opening and closing shifts
  • Assign and approve side work and point of sale (POS) and timekeeping supervisory functions
  • Recommend continuous improvements to processes and procedures
  • Monitor staffing levels and perform appropriate cuts to support business levels
  • Assign and cover breaks and make appropriate adjustments to floor maps throughout shifts
  • Provide supervision and guidance to and support the management team’s leadership of the hourly employees while fostering our Culture of Caring
  • Respond immediately and effectively to guest and employee needs and feedback
  • Proficiently perform functions of the teams they supervise and provide active back-up support when business needs require
  • Supervise BOH hourly employees’ performance and responsibilities including side work checklists and sanitation/safety guidelines and procedures and perform related walk-throughs
  • Balance, pare and maintain security of all cash banks
  • Support management team’s responsibilities for pre-shift and other employee meetings
  • Assist the management team with the training development and retention of team members and refer all employee issues directly to the management team
  • Assist in partnering with General Manager to ensure repair and maintenance needs are addressed
  • Understand and follow the food allergy procedure and special orders/restrictions
  • Ensure proper food storage quality and presentation standards including temperature controls
  • Assist the management team with monitoring and ensuring that the restaurant and team comply with all Company and restaurant policies and procedures as well as all legal and regulatory requirements including but not limited to safety and sanitation regulations and alcohol management
  • Support management team as needed in performing inventories of food beverage and restaurant supplies and tracking high cost items placing food beverage and restaurant supply orders and accepting and inspecting deliveries
  • Assign follow communicate and supervise VIP procedures
  • Work a variety of days and shifts including early mornings late nights and weekends at multiple sites as needed
  • Safely and effectively use and operate all necessary tools utensils equipment and software including restaurant management software
  • Effectively communicate in order to perform and follow job requirements in written and spoken direction
  • Multitask calmly and effectively in a busy stressful environment
  • Work in a confined crowded space of variable light noise and temperature levels
  • Move and lift up to 10 pounds frequently move and/or lift up to 25 pounds occasionally move and/or lift up to 50 pounds
  • Stand and walk for an entire shift and move safely through all areas of the restaurant which may include stairs uneven or slick surfaces
