Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 2 years experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry
- experience in a supervisory or leadership role preferred
- strong communication skills
- ability to manage and motivate a team
- knowledge of customer service best practices
- ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- certifications such as TIPS, CPR, and Serve Safe preferred
- physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills
Job Qualifications
- bachelor's degree in hospitality or related field preferred
- proven experience as a host, server, or cashier
- supervisory experience preferred
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- strong leadership and team management abilities
- knowledge of restaurant operations including inventory management and cost control
- excellent problem solving skills and ability to multi-task
- prior cash handling and experience with MICROS POS system
- TIPS, CPR and Serve Safe certification preferred
- understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- proficient in MS Office and POS systems
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- assist the restaurant manager with training and development of staff
- oversee the daily operations of the restaurant
- manage restaurant staff and schedules
- ensure excellent service delivery to guests
- maintain inventory management and cost control
- uphold food safety and hygiene standards
- handle cash and operate MICROS POS system
