Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience as a restaurant supervisor, floor lead, or manager
  • Passion for providing exceptional hospitality to guests and team members
  • Experience in full-service, high-volume restaurant environments
  • Strong knowledge of food, beer, wine, spirits, service standards, and labor cost management
  • Positive, solutions-oriented leadership style
  • Working knowledge of California wage and hour laws
  • Strong communication, organization, time-management, and follow-up skills
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and composure under pressure
  • Demonstrated longevity and proven track record with previous employers
  • Strong sense of integrity
  • Desire to grow, learn, and advance into a restaurant manager role
  • Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Oversee all dining room operations during your shift, ensuring excellence in service, hospitality, and ambiance
  • Act as the 'Mayor of the Village,' creating a welcoming, energetic, and fun atmosphere for guests and staff
  • Lead by example on the floor by supporting guests and team members
  • Set the tone for engagement, positivity, focus, and teamwork for the Front of House team
  • Ensure compliance with all California wage and hour laws
  • Maintain a positive and cooperative working relationship with the Back of House
  • Support hiring, training, coaching, scheduling, recognition, and labor control efforts
  • Assist management with inventory and controllable costs
  • Participate in manager meetings and contribute to overall restaurant success
  • Embody gracious hospitality, retaining top talent and ensuring every guest leaves raving about their experience and excited to return
