Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • relevant experience in restaurant supervision
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • ability to work under pressure and handle stressful situations
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
  • knowledge of training design and instructional methods
  • physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds
  • availability to participate in occasional weekend stayovers
  • commitment to uphold all company policies and legal standards
  • willingness to assist with special projects and events

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • proven experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant industry
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
  • knowledge of training design and instructional methods
  • understanding of health, safety and food service regulations

Job Duties

  • Assist in interviewing, selecting, training, supervising, counseling and disciplining outlet staff
  • observe performance and encourage improvement
  • ensure floor coverage during all meal periods
  • ensure all steps of service are followed daily
  • complete checklists, requisitions and opening and closing functions each shift
  • organize and conduct pre-shift and departmental meetings
  • communicate effectively with guests and employees
  • remain calm and alert during emergencies
  • ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and safety regulations
  • promote hotel facilities and resolve customer issues
  • monitor food quality and service standards
  • use computers to charge customers and create reports
  • ensure adherence to cash handling procedures
  • maintain cleanliness of outlets daily
  • solicit guest feedback
  • assist with inventory management
  • submit detailed daily and monthly reports
  • support marketing and social media promotional activities
  • plan and set up special events
  • oversee equipment maintenance
  • conduct competitive research and report findings
  • support food and beverage operations including special projects
  • participate in Manager on Duty coverage
  • complete other duties as assigned
