Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in food and beverage service or banquet operations
  • Proven supervisory or leadership experience
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle cash and operate POS systems
  • Proficient in English language
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work standing for extended periods
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment

Job Duties

  • Supervise daily operations of banquets to ensure compliance with SOPs, banquet event orders, safety regulations and optimal service
  • Calculate and review banquet checks ensuring accuracy and distribute to appropriate teams
  • Monitor and control maintenance and sanitation of banquet areas and equipment
  • Analyze banquet event orders, complete set-ups accurately
  • Set tables correctly and uniformly in assigned areas
  • Communicate effectively with customers, managers, and associates to ensure proper room setups, equipment, supplies, and staffing
  • Work flexible shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Maintain integrity of company proprietary information and protect company assets
  • Act as a guest service role model setting examples of excellent customer service
  • Assist servers and bartenders during meal periods and busy times
  • Handle guest problems and complaints promptly
  • Obtain guest feedback informally to assess quality of food, beverage, service and satisfaction
  • Ensure point of sale operations and cash handling follow standard procedures
  • Maintain service and sanitation standards in restaurant, bar/lounge, and room service areas
  • Empower associates to provide excellent customer service
  • Oversee restaurant, lounge and banquet areas in absence of non-exempt managers
  • Inspect dining room serving stations for neatness and cleanliness
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
