Job Requirements

- Any combination of education, training, or experience providing required knowledge and abilities
- Excellent communication skills

- Knowledge of training and instructional methods

Job Duties
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in interviewing, selecting, training, supervising, counseling and disciplining outlet staff
- Observe performance and encourage improvement where necessary
- Ensure the floor is covered during all meal periods to maintain service standards
- Monitor adherence to training materials and four diamond steps of service
- Complete checklists, requisitions, and opening and closing functions each shift
- Ensure proper staffing levels based on business activity
- Organize and conduct pre-shift and departmental meetings
- Communicate clearly with guests and employees and respond appropriately
- Maintain calm and alert demeanor during emergencies and busy periods
- Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures including ServSafe and Responsible Vendor guidelines
- Promote hotel facilities and services, handle customer issues, and coordinate special events
- Monitor food quality and service standards in kitchen and dining areas
- Use computer systems for billing, reporting, and correspondence
- Maintain cleanliness of outlets daily
- Collect guest feedback regarding service and offerings
- Support inventory management for beverages and supplies
- Submit detailed daily and monthly reports on time
- Collaborate on marketing promotions and social media updates
- Assist with special event planning and execution
- Oversee equipment maintenance and staff training on equipment use
- Conduct competitive research and recommend improvements
- Support full Food & Beverage operation including additional supervisory and marketing tasks
- Participate in Manager on Duty coverage including weekends
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
