Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- pass basic math skills test
- speak and understand English
- valid Food Handler Certification
- ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours
- ability to lift 25 pounds
- ability to push 25 pounds
- ability to move heavy wheeled carts (200+ pounds)
- ability to work various shifts including holidays and weekends
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- good organizational skills
- pleasant personality
- ability to follow directions
- ability to communicate effectively
- physical ability to maneuver around McCormick Place
- able to occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- vision abilities including close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to focus
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- sufficient math ability to accurately perform basic business math calculations
- ability to speak, read and understand English well enough to converse with customers, supervisors and employees
- good organizational skills
- ability to follow directions
- ability to work closely with others
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency
- pleasant personality and adherence to Uniform Standards policy
- ability to work various shifts and hours including holidays and weekends
- valid Food Handler Certification
Job Duties
- Wash pots, pans and traps
- maintain neat appearance of working areas and cleaning equipment storage areas
- scrape food off, rinse, and hand wash dishes or use a dishwasher
- sweep and mop kitchen floors and restaurant locations including Pods and Branded Locations
- empty garbage from all Back of House restaurant locations
- clean floor mats and floors in restaurant locations as requested
- clean garbage cans and waste receptacles
- clean and sanitize entire restaurant areas including storage areas, hallways and elevators
- clean and sanitize restaurant coolers and discard outdated items
- clean and sanitize restaurant restrooms and locker rooms
- adhere to cleaning schedules
- store all equipment in proper storage areas
- fill out dish machine logs
- perform other related duties as assigned by Supervisor
