  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

  • ServSafe certification preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a fine dining setting
  • Banquet experience preferred
  • Strong communication and time-management abilities
  • Ability to maintain a high-profile, customer-oriented, professional demeanor
  • Ability to function effectively in fast-paced and crisis situations
  • Adaptability to changes among programs, colleagues, and customers
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to carry trays and lift up to 50 lbs

  • High school diploma minimum
  • ServSafe certification is a plus

Job Duties

  • Greet and seat customers with courtesy and professionalism
  • Knowledgeably explain specials and menu items to customers
  • Take orders and enter them into the point-of-sale system
  • Serve food and beverages properly and clear plates/bus tables
  • Communicate effectively with front-of-house and back-of-house staff
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment with faculty, students, and staff
  • Maintain policies and standard operating procedures for restaurant and catering operations
