Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma
- Minimum 2 years experience in food service with preference for fine dining and banquet experience
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods
- Customer service oriented
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Maintain food safety standards
- Flexible availability for part-time shifts
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years in a fine dining setting with banquet experience preferred
- Strong communication and time-management abilities
- Ability to exhibit high profile, customer-oriented, professional demeanor
- Ability to function in fast-paced environment to make effective decisions in crisis situations
- Ability to adapt to differences and changes in programs, colleagues, students and customers
- Ability to function independently
- Ability to carry trays and lift up to 50 lbs as well as walking/standing for long periods of time
- Minimum high school diploma
- ServSafe Certification a plus
Job Duties
- Greet and seat customers with courtesy and professionalism
- Knowledgeable explanation of specials and menu items for customers
- Taking orders and entering them into the POS system
- Proper service of food and beverages as well as clearing of plates/bussing tables
- Communicating effectively and efficiently with both front and back of house
- Perform in a team-based environment with faculty, students and staff
- Maintain policies and standard operating processes and procedures for restaurant and catering operations
- Complete all side work and opening/closing checklists as required
- Maintain proper food safety standards
- Implement special responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
