Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 19 years of age
  • associate degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • eight years of culinary management experience in a large, multi-outlet casino or hotel environment
  • five years of supervisory experience
  • strong knowledge of food and beverage planning and production procedures
  • demonstrated commitment to guest service excellence and ethical conduct
  • ability to secure and maintain a Nebraska Gaming License
  • Food Handler Certification
  • ServSafe Certification
  • TIPS Alcohol Certification as required

Job Qualifications

  • Associate degree in a related field or equivalent work experience

Job Duties

  • Supervises daily culinary operations to ensure high-quality food production and presentation
  • trains, coaches, and develops culinary team members to meet performance standards
  • manages work schedules to maintain proper staffing levels and compliance with required certifications and work cards
  • provides ongoing feedback, performance coaching, and leadership to assigned teams
  • assists in developing menu items, recipes, and production guides
  • collaborates with front and back of house management to promote food safety, workplace safety, and service excellence
  • oversees event and group setups and breakdowns, assigning duties as needed
  • ensures compliance with all company policies, procedures, internal controls, and government regulations
  • attends required meetings and training sessions, including safety training
  • promotes positive guest and employee relations
  • maintains a professional appearance at all times
  • performs other duties as assigned
