Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 2 years culinary or kitchen management experience
  • availability to work 50 hours per week
  • capable of managing a high-volume kitchen
  • strong organizational skills
  • willingness to work flexible shifts
  • ability to lead and motivate a team

Job Qualifications

  • experience in a sous chef or assistant kitchen manager role
  • proven ability to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • excellent communication abilities
  • knowledge of kitchen sanitation and safety standards
  • ability to work a 50-hour work week
  • experience in a fast-casual restaurant environment preferred

Job Duties

  • ensure product preparation and presentation meet company standards
  • taste, inspect and provide constructive critique of all food being served
  • direct overall activities and performance of team members on shift
  • promote and manage line and kitchen organization, cleanliness and sanitation
  • maintain upkeep and cleanliness of the line and kitchen
  • communicate genuinely and transparently
  • demonstrate personal accountability and a strong team spirit
