Job Duties
- Advise executive chef on kitchen matters and ensure cleanliness and hygienic practices throughout the kitchen
- Manage employees including culinary staff, servers, and stewarding
- Oversee direction, coordination, and evaluation of restaurant unit
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities per organization policies and legal requirements
- Interview, hire, and train employees
- Plan, assign, and direct work
- Appraise performance, reward, discipline, and resolve employee issues
