  • Knowledge of food and beverage control procedures
  • Ability to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, hear, taste, or smell
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • ServSafe Sanitation certification
  • ACF certification preferred

  • AAS in Culinary Arts or equivalent from an accredited university or institute
  • Previous culinary experience is highly preferred

  • ACF certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Advise executive chef on kitchen matters and ensure cleanliness and hygienic practices throughout the kitchen
  • Manage employees including culinary staff, servers, and stewarding
  • Oversee direction, coordination, and evaluation of restaurant unit
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities per organization policies and legal requirements
  • Interview, hire, and train employees
  • Plan, assign, and direct work
  • Appraise performance, reward, discipline, and resolve employee issues
