Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior leadership experience in a restaurant setting
  • current food safety certification
  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including late night shifts
  • reliable and punctual
  • strong organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • at least 1 year of restaurant leadership experience supervising a team
  • food safety certification according to local jurisdiction
  • strong problem solving skills
  • effective communication skills both written and verbal
  • ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
  • experience with operational support functions preferred

Job Duties

  • manage the flow of service and direct the work of team members on a shift to ensure the highest levels of safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed
  • help build and lead high performing team of hourly team members
  • assist with operational support functions such as purchasing, receiving, and inventory
  • participate in applicant interviews and assist with employee relations
  • ensure compliance with food safety standards
  • motivate and develop team members to exceed performance goals
  • maintain a positive and inclusive work environment
