Job Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a food service, retail, or restaurant setting
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Willingness to accept feedback and continuously improve
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Positive attitude and outgoing personality

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of previous food service, retail or restaurant supervisory experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Initiative and assertiveness
  • Strong interpersonal skills and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage, train, develop and motivate a diverse crew
  • Passionate about hospitality and serving the guest
  • Ability to work a changing schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Ability to accept feedback and willingness to improve
  • Ability to set goals, create action plans, and implement those plans
  • Ability to measure performance subjectively and objectively
  • Ability to cultivate a positive culture within the restaurant

Job Duties

  • Assist the General Manager in staffing the restaurant timely and efficiently
  • Ensure the restaurant environment is safe for team members and guests
  • Create a positive culture through respect, recognition, and reward
  • Greet guests promptly and ensure a positive guest experience
  • Handle orders and inquiries professionally and resolve low-level guest issues
  • Control cash, product, labor, and food costs
  • Maintain operational standards and communicate maintenance issues
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members
  • Ensure compliance with risk management and company standards
