Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred
  • availability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks related to restaurant operations
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to follow company policies and procedures
  • commitment to teamwork and customer service excellence

Job Duties

  • helping to maintain projected costs and labor during scheduled shifts
  • hands on supervision of the restaurant including occasional assistance with serving, hosting, cooking, and other duties
  • hosting promotions and alley rallies
  • helping make sure staff is following established recipes and procedures
  • helping enforce applicable liquor laws and responsible alcohol service guidelines
  • helping to control the guest flow and monitoring ticket times
  • enforcing compliance with all employment policies in areas of responsibility in conjunction with management leadership
  • coaching employees to maintain consistency in food and service to increase sales
  • making 100 percent table visits if applicable
  • understanding, managing, and practicing safe food handling procedures
  • maintaining culture and core values which include passion, partnership, integrity, and fun with purpose
  • working during peak business hours to set the pace in front or back of house
  • creating a fun, safe environment by following core values and operational goals and implementing contests, theme nights, and staff incentives
