Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • some prior experience in food service or hospitality preferred
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • must be at least 18 years old
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • strong interpersonal skills
  • reliable and punctual
  • able to handle a fast-paced work environment

Job Qualifications

  • ability to supervise both front of house and back of house operations
  • knowledge of food safety and alcohol service regulations

Job Duties

  • helping to maintain projected costs and labor during scheduled shifts
  • hands on supervision of the restaurant including occasional temporary assistance with serving, hosting, cooking, and other duties
  • hosting promotions and alley rallies
  • helping make sure staff is following established recipes and procedures
  • helping enforce applicable liquor laws and responsible alcohol service guidelines
  • helping to control the guest flow and monitoring ticket times
  • enforcing compliance with employment policies in areas of responsibility
  • coaching employees to maintain consistency in food and service to increase sales
  • performing 100 percent table visits if applicable
  • understanding, managing, and practicing safe food handling procedures
  • maintaining culture and core values including passion, partnership, integrity, and fun with purpose
  • working during peak business hours to set the pace in front or back of house
  • creating a fun, safe environment by following core values and operational goals, implementing contests, theme nights, and creating incentives for the staff
