Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in restaurant serving or banquet support preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of food and beverage menus

Job Duties

  • Provide exceptional tableside service to our restaurant guests and banquet clients/guests
  • Welcome guests, take drink and food orders correctly
  • Explain all specials and answer questions on all menu items
  • Provide wine suggestions that are compatible with guests orders
  • Ensure all plates and drinks delivered to guests exceed expectations
  • Follow up with each guest after they’ve started their meal to ensure they have everything they need and are satisfied with their order
  • Work with the kitchen to ensure food service is timely, especially during high volume periods
  • Resolve guest concerns promptly and escalate to management as needed to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Complete side work (e.g., rolling flatware) as assigned and in a timely manner
  • Enter guests' orders accurately into the Point of Sale system
  • Maintain guest satisfaction through proactive communication and attentive service
  • Assist with clean up, set up and service for banquets
