Job Requirements

  • prior serving experience is desired but willing to train someone with a great presence, friendly smile and outgoing personality
  • excellent communication skills
  • basic math skills
  • attention to detail

Job Qualifications

  • high school education or equivalent
  • must be of legal age to serve alcohol
  • self-motivated and customer service oriented
  • strong oral and written communication skills
  • clean and professional appearance
  • adept in following food safety practices
  • detail oriented
  • ability to work on your feet for at least 8 hours at a time and lift at least 60 lbs
  • team oriented
  • ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays especially Saturdays

Job Duties

  • ensuring the table is clean and set with clean utensils in the proper configuration
  • greeting the guests at their table in a timely fashion
  • ensuring the guests have drinks and time to decide on their order
  • taking the orders accurately and conveying it to the kitchen
  • monitoring their tables and ensuring their guests always have drinks and are generally satisfied
  • getting food from the kitchen when it is prepared and getting it to the guests
  • ensuring all meals are satisfactory to the guests
  • returning to clear the table when guests are done eating and asking if there is anything else that can be provided
