Job Requirements
- prior serving experience is desired but willing to train someone with a great presence, friendly smile and outgoing personality
- excellent communication skills
- basic math skills
- attention to detail
Job Qualifications
- high school education or equivalent
- must be of legal age to serve alcohol
- self-motivated and customer service oriented
- strong oral and written communication skills
- clean and professional appearance
- adept in following food safety practices
- detail oriented
- ability to work on your feet for at least 8 hours at a time and lift at least 60 lbs
- team oriented
- ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays especially Saturdays
Job Duties
- ensuring the table is clean and set with clean utensils in the proper configuration
- greeting the guests at their table in a timely fashion
- ensuring the guests have drinks and time to decide on their order
- taking the orders accurately and conveying it to the kitchen
- monitoring their tables and ensuring their guests always have drinks and are generally satisfied
- getting food from the kitchen when it is prepared and getting it to the guests
- ensuring all meals are satisfactory to the guests
- returning to clear the table when guests are done eating and asking if there is anything else that can be provided
