Job Duties
- Welcome and greet guests
- inform guests of specials and menu changes
- make genuine recommendations to guests
- answer questions about food, beverages and restaurant services
- take food and beverage orders and enter them into the point-of-sale system
- deliver food and beverages to guests promptly
- perform side work at the start and end of each shift
- maintain clean service areas
- monitor guests' dining experience and ensure satisfaction
- prepare final bill, process payments and make change if applicable
- assist fellow servers as needed
- assist busperson with clearing and resetting tables
- thank guests and invite them to return
- fill in as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations
