Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to stand and walk for entire shifts
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- basic arithmetic skills
- ability to work varied schedules including weekends and holidays
- compliance with grooming and uniform standards
- understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- capacity to maintain composure under pressure
- reliable attendance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in restaurant or hospitality service preferred
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- knowledge of food and beverage service standards
- familiarity with POS systems
- basic math skills
- ability to follow state liquor laws
- excellent customer service orientation
- teamwork and collaboration skills
Job Duties
- Provide attentive, friendly, courteous, and professional service to guests
- clean, clear, and reset tables as needed
- sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain cleanliness
- perform opening and closing procedures
- follow all state liquor laws
- handle food and beverage service including refilling guests’ cups and glasses
- greet and serve guests according to service policies
- convey information clearly and select appropriate actions
- work well under pressure and maintain composure
- listen and address guest and associate concerns effectively
- use POS/Micros system for cashiering functions
- maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming
- maintain regular attendance according to hotel scheduling
