Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior experience in restaurant and hospitality preferred
- Ability to walk and stand for entire shift
- Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds
- Knowledge of food, beverage, and sanitation standards
- Ability to communicate clearly in English
- Must be energetic and outgoing
- Effective listening and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain composure
- Proficient with POS/Micros system and basic financial functions
- Ability to follow directions with accuracy
- Ability to work well in a team with minimal supervision
- Availability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
- Willingness to travel as needed for hotel familiarization and meetings
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior restaurant and hospitality experience preferred
- Advanced knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Office and web analytics preferred
- Working knowledge of property safety and security procedures
- Strong customer service and sales skills
- Effective communication in English
- Energetic and outgoing personality
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environments
- Basic arithmetic skills and financial data handling
- Proficient typing speed of 45 wpm
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Opera preferred
- Ability to exercise confidentiality and discretion
Job Duties
- Provide attentive and courteous food and beverage service to guests
- Clear, clean, and reset tables as needed
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain cleanliness
- Perform opening and closing station duties
- Follow state liquor laws and hotel policies
- Use POS/Micros system for cashiering and guest service
- Coordinate with kitchen and management for smooth operations
