Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED required
  • prior experience in restaurant and hospitality preferred
  • advanced computer software knowledge preferred
  • ability to walk and stand for entire shift
  • ability to perform medium work involving lifting up to 50 pounds
  • excellent customer service skills
  • effective communication skills in English
  • energetic, outgoing and team-oriented
  • ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • adherence to safety and security procedures
  • ability to work weekends or holidays as needed
  • maintain regular attendance
  • ability to work primarily Monday through Friday 8am-5pm with some weekend flexibility
  • ability to maintain personal grooming standards

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or GED required
  • college degree preferred
  • 1+ previous restaurant and hospitality experience preferred
  • advanced knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Office and Outlook preferred
  • demonstrate knowledge of property safety and security procedures
  • excellent customer service and sales skills
  • effective communication skills in English
  • energetic and outgoing personality
  • strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • attention to detail, speed and accuracy
  • able to work under minimal supervision
  • ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • basic arithmetic and financial information skills
  • ability to type 45 words per minute
  • proficient in Microsoft Office and Opera preferred
  • ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion

Job Duties

  • walk and stand for entire shift while providing attentive and courteous service to guests
  • clear, clean and reset tables as needed
  • sweep, mop and vacuum floors to maintain cleanliness
  • be familiar with restaurant and lounge organization and menu
  • perform opening and closing procedures and side work duties
  • follow all state liquor laws
  • handle food and beverage service including refilling guests' drinks
  • greet and serve guests following policy guidelines
  • convey information clearly and select appropriate actions quickly
  • work well under pressure and maintain composure
  • listen to and address guest and associate concerns
  • use POS/Micros system for cashiering duties
  • maintain high personal appearance standards
  • comply with scheduling and attendance policies
