Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED required
- prior experience in restaurant and hospitality preferred
- advanced computer software knowledge preferred
- ability to walk and stand for entire shift
- ability to perform medium work involving lifting up to 50 pounds
- excellent customer service skills
- effective communication skills in English
- energetic, outgoing and team-oriented
- ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- adherence to safety and security procedures
- ability to work weekends or holidays as needed
- maintain regular attendance
- ability to work primarily Monday through Friday 8am-5pm with some weekend flexibility
- ability to maintain personal grooming standards
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or GED required
- college degree preferred
- 1+ previous restaurant and hospitality experience preferred
- advanced knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Office and Outlook preferred
- demonstrate knowledge of property safety and security procedures
- excellent customer service and sales skills
- effective communication skills in English
- energetic and outgoing personality
- strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- attention to detail, speed and accuracy
- able to work under minimal supervision
- ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- basic arithmetic and financial information skills
- ability to type 45 words per minute
- proficient in Microsoft Office and Opera preferred
- ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
Job Duties
- walk and stand for entire shift while providing attentive and courteous service to guests
- clear, clean and reset tables as needed
- sweep, mop and vacuum floors to maintain cleanliness
- be familiar with restaurant and lounge organization and menu
- perform opening and closing procedures and side work duties
- follow all state liquor laws
- handle food and beverage service including refilling guests' drinks
- greet and serve guests following policy guidelines
- convey information clearly and select appropriate actions quickly
- work well under pressure and maintain composure
- listen to and address guest and associate concerns
- use POS/Micros system for cashiering duties
- maintain high personal appearance standards
- comply with scheduling and attendance policies
