Job Requirements

  • Previous food and beverage experience
  • Valid Yavapai County Health Department Food Handlers card
  • Completed County and State liquor training
  • Ability to lift moderate weights and stand for prolonged periods
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and adhere to grooming standards
  • Team player with attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Micros POS system preferred

Job Duties

  • Be thoroughly familiar with all standards of proper service etiquette and adhere to these standards throughout guests' dining experience
  • Know all liquor laws as well as company and departmental policies regarding consumption of alcoholic beverages
  • Ability to service a five-table station during typical service demand
  • Have a strong working knowledge of the Micros POS system and other check processing procedures for dining room service
  • Help other employees with questions and process discounts while maintaining assigned section
  • Know all menu items including ingredients, preparation, required condiments, key descriptors, and potential allergies
  • Accurately and efficiently take orders from guests and expedite as soon as prepared from the kitchen
  • Communicate effectively with the kitchen line and management staff
  • Complete end of service procedures
  • Complete closing paperwork including checking the accuracy of all discounts and comps, and obtaining necessary signatures
  • Attend all scheduled staff meetings and supplemental training sessions
