Job Requirements

  • Valid Yavapai County Health Dept. Food Handlers card
  • Completed County and State Liquor training
  • Ability to lift moderate weights and stand for prolonged periods
  • Sincere desire to provide excellent guest service
  • Adherence to company appearance guidelines
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation

  • Previous food and beverage experience
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to follow safety practices including use of personal protective equipment

Job Duties

  • Be thoroughly familiar with all standards of proper service etiquette and adhere to these standards throughout guests' dining experience
  • Know all liquor laws as well as company and departmental policies regarding the consumption of alcoholic beverages
  • Service a five-table station during typical service demand
  • Utilize Micros POS system and other check processing procedures for dining room service
  • Assist other employees with their questions and process discounts while maintaining assigned section
  • Know all menu items including ingredients, preparation, required condiments, key descriptors, and potential allergies
  • Accurately and efficiently take orders from guests and expedite as soon as prepared from the kitchen, monitoring ticket times
  • Communicate effectively with the kitchen line and management staff
  • Complete end of service procedures
  • Complete closing paperwork, check accuracy of all discounts and comps, ensuring proper information and signatures
  • Attend all scheduled staff meetings and supplemental training sessions
