Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum one year prior experience in restaurant or hospitality
- Ability to stand and walk throughout shifts
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Knowledge of state liquor laws
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain composure
- Basic computer skills including POS operation
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work varied schedules including weekends and holidays
- Proficient in English
- Energetic and outgoing demeanor
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior restaurant and hospitality experience preferred
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and web analytics tools preferred
- Working knowledge of property safety and security procedures
- Excellent customer service and sales skills
- Effective communication skills in English
- Energetic and outgoing personality
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to follow directions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
- Team player with ability to work under minimal supervision
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Basic financial literacy and arithmetic skills
- Typing speed of 45 words per minute
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Opera preferred
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
Job Duties
- Walk and stand throughout entire shift while providing attentive, friendly, courteous, and professional service to guests
- Clear, clean, and reset tables
- Perform medium work exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain cleanliness of restaurant area and hallways
- Be familiar with the restaurant layout, job functions, menus, and specials
- Execute opening and closing procedures and side work duties to ensure stations are stocked and tidy
- Follow all state liquor laws
- Handle food and beverage service including carrying coffee pots and beverages
- Greet and serve guests following company service guidelines
- Convey information clearly and evaluate alternatives quickly and accurately
- Work effectively under high-pressure situations maintaining composure
- Listen and clarify concerns of guests and associates
- Perform cashiering functions using POS system
- Maintain personal grooming, uniform, and name tag compliance
- Maintain regular attendance as scheduled
- Coordinate with Executive and Sous Chef, Supervisor, attend management meetings as required
