Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous bartending, serving, and/or customer service experience preferred
  • must pass a Federal/National criminal background check and credit check
  • must have a valid Texas driver’s license with an acceptable driving record as defined by City policy
  • must pass a pre-employment basic physical, drug screen, and functional assessment screening (Level 2)
  • must be able to work weekends and holidays

  • knowledgeable of drink brand selections, garnishes, and prices
  • confident food and drink recommendation skills
  • outgoing personality and positive attitude
  • complete understanding of standardized recipes for classic and contemporary cocktails
  • must be able to work weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Greets customers promptly
  • presents menu, makes recommendations, and answers questions regarding beverages and food
  • takes guest beverage and/or food orders and inputs orders accurately in the point-of-sale system
  • prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and regulations
  • retrieves and delivers food and beverage orders timely
  • replenishes beverages and ensures guest satisfaction throughout meal service
  • maintains bar area stocked, clean, and functional
  • clears plates at appropriate time
  • presents the check and handles transactions accurately
  • responds graciously to guest service issues and reports to management
  • replenishes beverage cart with fresh items and organizes cart
  • maintains a clean and organized section, service station, and dining room
  • performs opening, ongoing, and closing duties as assigned
  • performs secondary responsibilities such as clearing and cleaning tables
  • interacts professionally with public, coworkers, and supervisors
