Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hospitality preferred
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Required TIPS alcohol and food handlers certification
- Strong communication skills
- Must be detail oriented
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
- Ability to perform physical tasks related to the role
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a high volume guest facing position
- Previous experience in restaurant service preferred
- Must be able to lift, carry, and place up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk throughout an 8-hour shift
- Excellent communication and guest service skills
- Must be 18 years or older
- Strong attention to detail
- TIPS Alcohol and Food Handlers certification required prior to first shift
- Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Omni standards
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming including proper attire and name tag
- Provide outstanding service to members and guests in a friendly and professional manner following proper steps of service
- Deliver Restaurant In-Room orders to guest rooms and manage related side work
- Deliver Guest morning deliveries or afternoon amenity deliveries and perform associated side work
- Communicate with culinary and food and beverage teams regarding meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs and special requests
- Alert manager immediately if a member or guest has a suggestion, complaint or issue
- Present accurate check to guest and process payment for Restaurant In-Room duties
- Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant
- Assist in seating guests and answering phones
- Bussing, running food and clearing tables to assist servers and guests
- Perform station setup and stock supplies
- Clean coffee machines and prepare coffee
- Set up tea station and manage ice supply
- Dust tables including table legs
- Receive rolls and put in warmers
- Replenish milk and set up creamers
- Pre-set breadbaskets with napkins
- Pick-up linen and storeroom supplies
- Set tables with clean linens, china, silver and glassware
- Ensure furniture and floors are clean and properly arranged
- Assist servers during meal periods
- Remove extra settings
- Pour water for guests
- Cross train among food and beverage outlets
- Maintain knowledge of resort property
- Attend department meetings and company trainings
- Perform other duties as assigned by the restaurant manager
