Job Requirements

  • Must have restaurant experience and bartending experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Six months food service or one year bartending experience
  • Basic reading and writing skills
  • Basic math skills
  • Must speak fluent English
  • Flexible availability including nights, weekends, holidays
  • Alcohol awareness certification and/or food handler card as required
  • Able to carry or lift items up to 50 pounds
  • Physical ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and move about restaurant
  • Good communication skills for interacting with guests and co-workers

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Six months food service experience or one year bartending experience
  • Basic reading and writing skills
  • Basic math skills for handling cash and credit transactions
  • Fluent in English
  • Flexible work schedule availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Alcohol awareness certification or valid food handler card as required by local or state agency
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred
  • Knowledge of kitchen operations and front-of-house F&B experience preferred
  • Demonstrated engagement in wellness, nutrition, fitness, or related activities

Job Duties

  • Engages guests to understand their wellness needs and offers options to help guests make healthy food choices
  • Assists guests with tablet ordering and takes beverage orders according to brand standards
  • Prepares and presents food and beverages including bartending specialty cocktails
  • Uses suggestive selling techniques to up-sell where possible to maximize hotel revenue
  • Stores food and beverage products and replenishes supplies based on business forecasts
  • Clears and cleans tables promptly and maintains cleanliness in guest and production areas
  • Processes cashiering transactions accurately and completes closing/reconciliation activities
