Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a restaurant server, preferably in a fine dining environment
- Certification in TIPS and Food Handler
- Proficiency with Micros or similar POS systems
- Must be able to communicate fluently in English
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure, fast-paced work environment
Job Qualifications
- Must have restaurant wait staff experience, preferably in a fine dining setting
- Micros and cash handling experience is required
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- TIPS and Food Handler certifications are required
- Candidates must be able to speak fluent English
- Must be able to stand entire shift and work in a busy environment
- Micros or other cashiering system experience is required
- Must be available to work all breakfast shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Complete knowledge of service time, menu and specials
- Greet, seat guests
- Take guest orders
- Prepare and serve orders using Moments of Service and Power of Engagement
- Inquire if additional service is needed/upsell
- Responsible for each check
- Set and clear tables
- Responsible for set-up, delivery and presentation of each guest order
- Consult with supervisor on any food pick up difficulty
- Attend all designated staff meetings and training sessions
- Complete any tasks and side duties assigned by manager
- Responsible for maintenance and cleanliness of service areas
- Aid guests in locating other areas of the hotel (walk them to the destination if possible)
- Adhere to cash handling standards
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Ensure clean uniform and professional personal appearance
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
- Protect company assets
- Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions
- Complete safety training and certifications
