Job Duties
- Serve ice water and/or coffee upon greeting the table
- Present menu to diner, suggesting dinner courses, appropriate wines, and answering questions regarding food preparation
- Write order on check or memorize it
- Relay order to kitchen or bar and serve courses from kitchen and service bars
- Garnish and decorate dishes preparatory to serving
- Serve patrons from dish at table on occasion
- Observe diners to fulfill any additional request and to perceive when meal has been completed
- Total bill and accept payment or refer patron to cashier
- Replenish supplies and prepare for the next meal
- Take initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner
- Perform other duties as assigned
