Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Professional presentation and polished communication
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of POS systems and food service practices
Job Duties
- Welcome and connect with every customer
- Discover customer’s needs and make recommendations guests will enjoy
- Answer questions about food, beverages, and other restaurant or hotel services
- Take food and beverage orders and enter them in the POS system
- Perform running side work and opening and closing duties as required by assignment
- Maintain a clean and organized work and service area
- Ensure guests are satisfied with the food, beverage, and service
- respond promptly and courteously to requests
- Prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, process credit card charges or make change
- Work as part of a team offering or asking for help as needed
- Be available to fill in as needed to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant as directed by supervisor
