Job Requirements
- Three plus years experience as a server in fine dining and/or high-volume restaurant
- Non-expired Food Handlers and Basset certification
- Knowledge of local health department food handling and sanitation standards
- Knowledge of responsible and legal alcoholic beverage service
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to lift 25 pounds and stand or walk for prolonged periods
Job Qualifications
- Three plus years experience as a server in fine dining and/or high-volume restaurant
- Excellent working knowledge of food preparation techniques and cuisines
- Excellent knowledge of wines, cocktails, and other beverages
- Knowledge of local health department food handling and sanitation standards
- Knowledge of responsible and legal alcoholic beverage service
- Non-expired Food Handlers and Basset certification
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- Accuracy and speed in task execution
- Passion for quality and respect for team members and guests
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to stand or walk extended periods and handle lifting up to 25 pounds
Job Duties
- Nurture an excellent guest experience by interacting with guests in a personable and professional manner
- Guide guests' experience by making food and beverage recommendations
- Become well-versed in menu items to field questions and make personalized suggestions
- Stay knowledgeable on menu updates including seasonal features, deviations, and 86ed items
- Accurately record and communicate orders to bar and kitchen noting dietary needs and special requests
- Keep kitchen team informed on guests' meal progression for proper order coursing
- Process orders and payments efficiently adhering to cash and credit card handling policies
- Maintain calm demeanor during high-volume periods
- Maintain and comply with state sanitation and health regulations
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
