Job Requirements
- Must be able to commute to Hackensack, NJ 07601
- Must relocate to Hackensack, NJ 07601 before starting work
- Ability to work part-time hours
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be detail oriented and reliable
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Basic proficiency with technology for POS usage
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in customer service or restaurant setting is advantageous
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Basic understanding of POS systems
- Knowledge of Japanese cuisine or language is a plus
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Job Duties
- Serving and interacting with customers and fellow staff members
- Acknowledge and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Have complete knowledge of the menu and its items
- Serve menu items promptly and in a friendly manner
- Answer phone calls in a professional and friendly manner
- Demonstrate knowledge of Japanese cuisine and/or language as a bonus
- Work in a fast paced environment and multi-task independently or with a team
- Take guest orders, answer any questions, and accurately enter orders into POS system
