Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous banquet or food and beverage service experience preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to stand and move for extended periods
  • Strong team orientation
  • Compliance with health and safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • Previous banquet, bartending or service experience a plus
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekday mornings

  • Knowledge of food safety and health regulations
  • Basic understanding of banquet event orders and setup requirements

Job Duties

  • Create new and innovative ways to ensure a memorable experience for everyone involved
  • Understand banquet event orders to direct setup and breakdown of food buffet and events as needed
  • Work with chef and F&B supervisor to ensure food and meeting rooms set properly
  • Responsible to keep meeting rooms and storage areas clean and well-maintained
  • Set up audio visual requirements as needed
  • Assist with setting up and breaking down all tables, chairs, bars, linens, etc.
  • Support coworkers during high-volume events to maintain smooth operations
  • Work directly with clients with a welcoming and friendly personality
  • Comply with all state and local food health requirements in addition to brand standards
  • Ability to work a flexible and varied schedule as dictated by business levels
