Job Requirements
- Open availability required
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period or entire shift
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull objects up to 25 pounds independently and heavier loads with assistance
- Ability to reach overhead and below knees including bending and twisting
- Ability to work full-time
- Willingness to comply with company safety and security policies
- No supervisory experience required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- At least 1 year of related work experience
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Knowledge of food and beverage service standards
- Basic proficiency with POS systems preferred
- Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
Job Duties
- Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests
- Set tables according to type of event and service standards
- Answer questions on menu selections
- Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, wait times, re-cooks, and product availability
- Record transactions in MICROS system at time of order
- Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc.
- Complete closing duties including restocking items and turning off lights
- Present accurate check to guest and process payment
- Follow all company safety and security policies
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
- Anticipate and address guests’ service needs
- Assist individuals with disabilities
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
- Perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors
