Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Valid Food Worker Card required
  • Prefer a minimum of one year of previous serving experience
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written)
  • Must have a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor
  • Ability to stand, walk and carry food trays for prolonged periods

Job Duties

  • Service of food and/or beverage including order-taking, delivery and clearing of items
  • Checks station before, during and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness
  • Greets guests in a friendly and courteous manner and explains specials or promotions
  • Takes orders and inputs them into the Point of Sale computer for kitchen notification
  • Retrieves orders from kitchen, confirms accuracy and delivers to guests
  • Ascertains guest satisfaction throughout meal service
  • Abides by all federal, state regulations and restaurant liquor policies regarding alcohol service
