Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- two years of comparable wait service experience preferred
- availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- strong hospitality and customer service skills
- knowledge of local and state laws regarding alcohol service
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- excellent communication and time management skills
- ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in service areas

- knowledgeable about menu, buffet, and wine list
- ability to time service of each course appropriately

- ability to perform required roles during emergency situations
Job Duties
- Provide food and beverage service to club members and their guests
- set up workstation and perform assigned side prep work
- provide immediate attention to all members and guests upon seating
- ensure children are in appropriate seats and safe
- distribute food and wine menus and answer questions
- learn members’ names and special menu preferences
- fill glasses with ice water and suggest menu items
- ensure correct account numbers and names for billing
- efficiently serve food and drinks in a friendly manner
- place orders with kitchen and inform cooks of special instructions
- assemble food on tray and procure items from stations
- serve meals placing dishes by courses
- check back to ensure satisfaction and replenish as necessary
- remove soiled dishes and reset tables
- present dessert menus and serve coffee and after-dinner drinks
- verify accuracy of prices, taxes, tips and other charges
- present bill to members
- handle all cash and credit card charges per procedures
- keep dining and bus station areas clean
- clear, clean and reset tables
- advise supervisor of complaints promptly
- perform clean-up and closing duties
- attend pre-meal meetings as requested
- turn in signed tip declaration form weekly
- thank members and invite them to return
- consistently follow laws and club policies for alcohol service
- perform other duties assigned by Food and Beverage Manager
