Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year of related work experience
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull objects weighing up to 25 pounds unassisted
  • Ability to move objects exceeding 50 pounds with assistance
  • Ability to work day shift full-time
  • Must be tip eligible
  • Ability to follow safety, hygiene, and security policies
  • Effective communication skills
  • Professional appearance and conduct

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • At least 1 year of related work experience
  • No supervisory experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage service protocols
  • Familiarity with point of sale systems such as MICROS
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and composure under pressure

Job Duties

  • Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests
  • Set tables according to type of event and service standards
  • Answer questions on menu selections
  • Communicate with kitchen regarding menu questions, wait times, re-cook orders, and product availability
  • Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to kitchen
  • Record transaction in MICROS system at time of order
  • Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, and utensils throughout the day
  • Complete closing duties including restocking items and turning off lights
  • Present physical and accurate check to guests and process payment
  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
  • Anticipate and address guests’ service needs
  • Assist individuals with disabilities
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
  • Support team to reach common goals
  • Listen and respond appropriately to concerns of other employees
