Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Prior restaurant and hospitality experience preferred
  • Ability to walk and stand for entire shift
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Must be service oriented with excellent customer service skills
  • Must communicate effectively in English
  • Must be energetic and outgoing
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment
  • Basic knowledge of financial information and arithmetic
  • Typing speed of 45 words per minute
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Must follow state liquor laws and company policies
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Must maintain regular attendance and proper grooming
  • Work hours primarily Monday through Friday 8am-5pm
  • Some weekend or holiday work may be required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • College degree preferred
  • One or more years of prior restaurant and hospitality experience preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, and web analytics tools preferred
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of property safety and security procedures
  • Excellent customer service and sales skills
  • Effective communication skills in English
  • Energetic and outgoing personality
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to follow directions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
  • Basic financial literacy and arithmetic skills
  • Typing speed of 45 words per minute
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Opera preferred
  • Ability to exercise confidentiality and discretion

Job Duties

  • Walk and stand during entire shift while servicing guests with food and beverage requirements in an attentive and courteous manner
  • Report all issues and complaints to management
  • Clear, clean and reset tables as needed
  • Sweep, mop and vacuum floors to maintain cleanliness
  • Be familiar with restaurant and lounge organization and menus
  • Perform opening and closing procedures and side work according to station rotation
  • Follow all state liquor laws
  • Handle food and beverage service including refilling guests' cups and glasses
  • Greet and serve guests following company policies
  • Convey information clearly and evaluate actions quickly
  • Maintain composure under pressure
  • Listen and understand guest and associate concerns
  • Use POS/Micros system for cashiering functions
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming
  • Coordinate work priorities with culinary and supervisory staff
  • Attend meetings as required by management
