Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Basic knowledge of dining room service procedures
Ability to handle money and operate point-of-sale systems
Physical ability to stand for up to 5 hours
Ability to lift and transport trays weighing 20 to 25 pounds
Weekend and holiday availability
Good communication skills

Job Duties

Welcome and greet guests making them feel comfortable and personally taken care of
Inform guests of specials and menu changes
Make genuine menu recommendations
Answer questions about food, beverages, and restaurant services
Take food and beverage orders and enter them into the point-of-sale system
Deliver food and beverages to guests promptly
Perform side work at the start and end of shifts
Maintain clean service areas
Monitor guests' dining experience and ensure satisfaction
Prepare final bills, process payments, and handle credit card charges
Assist fellow servers and busperson as needed
Thank guests and invite them to return
Fill in to ensure smooth restaurant operations as directed
