Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Provide attentive, knowledgeable, and professional service in all dining areas
- Greet guests promptly, present menus, and guide them through food and beverage selections
- Accurately take and input orders into Micros POS, ensuring details are clear and complete
- Serve food and drinks according to The Standard’s service standards and sequence
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, daily specials, and 86’d items
- Confidently describe menu offerings, wine pairings, and cocktails as trained
- Open and serve wine and bottled beverages with proper technique
- Handle all forms of payment accurately and in accordance with company procedures
- Maintain clean and organized wait stations, ensuring readiness at all times
- Complete assigned side work before, during, and after shifts according to SOPs
- Ensure all closing duties are properly executed, leaving the section and service areas guest-ready
- Communicate effectively with hosts, bartenders, runners, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout service and resolve concerns with professionalism and care
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel programming, events, and offerings to provide accurate information and recommendations
