Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior fine dining restaurant serving experience required
- must be able to work full-time or part-time with flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- effective communication skills
- ability to follow food safety and sanitation protocols
- must adhere to company safety policies and procedures
- ability to handle cash accurately
- authorization to work in the United States

- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

- demonstrate sensitivity and confidentiality regarding guest information
- ability to collaborate effectively with kitchen and service staff
Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders in an efficient manner following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation
- follow up periodically to assist with additional guest needs or requests
- demonstrate full understanding of menu items and ingredients and advise guests on food and drink combinations
- accommodate reasonable guest requests and note preferences
- demonstrate knowledge of specialized diets and allergens as needed
- communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure order accuracy and accommodate special requests
- exhibit exceptional communication skills and maintain positive relations with guests and staff
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- maintain a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
- handle personal or medical information with sensitivity and confidentiality
- promptly address complaints or issues and relay information to supervisors
- ensure dining room is properly set up before and after service and meets sanitation standards
- operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
- collaborate with staff from other departments during special events and functions
- perform other duties as assigned
