Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a server in a restaurant or nightclub setting
- Ability to use POS systems such as Aloha or Micros
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic math proficiency for handling payments
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Physical stamina to stand or walk for extended periods during shifts
- Customer-oriented attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a server role within the restaurant or nightclub industry is preferred
- Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable systems is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy shifts
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and engagement
- Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge is a plus enhancing communication with kitchen staff
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends as required by the restaurant's schedule
Job Duties
- Greet and welcome guests promptly with a friendly demeanor
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems
- Provide menu recommendations and upsell items to enhance the guest experience
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal and address any concerns promptly
- Process payments accurately including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area adhering to food safety standards
- Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for new guests as needed
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely food preparation
- Uphold hospitality standards by providing excellent guest relations and services
