Job Requirements
- Must be available to work mornings, afternoons, and special evening shifts including weekends
- Must have valid and updated RBS (Server ID) certification upon hire
- High school graduate or general education degree (GED) or work equivalent
- Must have good understanding of the English language
- Previous guest/customer relations experience
- Certification of previous training in liquor, wine and food service preferred
- Must be TIPS, CARE or equivalent certified or become certified by first day on the job
- Ability to input and access information in property management system/computers/point of sales system

Job Duties
- Check with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems
- Collect payments from customers
- Write patrons' food orders on order slips, memorize orders, or enter orders into computers for transmittal to kitchen staff
- Prepare checks that itemize and total meal costs and sales taxes
- Take orders from patrons for food or beverages
- Check patrons' identification to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages
- Serve food or beverages to patrons, and prepare or serve specialty dishes at tables as required
